Walk over two beautiful fields to the west of Kitts & you will find the Sloop & Stars Shepherd's Hut.
Wake to birdsong, sip your morning coffee overlooking rolling green fields and spend your evenings under vast, unspoilt skies. With minimal light pollution, the stars here truly shine, making it the perfect spot for stargazing. You might even spot the Bluebell steam engine over the hills.
Sloop & Stars Shepherd's Hut is tucked away along Sloop Lane, with the Sloop pub within a 5min walk and the Bluebell Railway a 5min drive or 50min walk away for those steam engine enthusiasts. This romantic escape in the heart of the Sussex countryside is surrounded by ancient woodland and grazing sheep, it's a place to slow down, switch off and soak in the night skies.
Inside, the hut is warm, cosy and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could need for a weekend away. Outside, enjoy your own private space to relax, dine and unwind beside the fire.

- Quality fresh linen is provided - we use unscented, eco friendly detergent suitable for all skin types

How to get to Sloop & Stars Shepherd's Hut
**Please note, the entrance to Sloop & Stars Shepherds Hut is from Sloop Lane and NOT Kitts Campsite, but once parked up, you are able to walk across the 2 small fields to get to Kitts if you are visiting friend's or family or walking to the Bluebell Railway or Everyday Brew Company
From Haywards Heath
Come into Scaynes Hill. Just before the garage, take the left onto Church Road. Continue driving and the lane turns into Nash Lane, then into Butterbox Lane. When you reach a white wooden signpost on a triangle of grass in the road, bend round to the left and

Turn right onto Warrs Hill Road. After about 1.5 miles you will come to a small triangle in the road, take a right and take the 3rd entrance on the right and keep going to the top of the driveway.
